Join us in taking a look at the latest residential glass washer for your kitchen sink at home...that's right for your home. A ridiculously clever way to help get bottles, cups, and glasses clean. In its first product offering for the consumer market, the First Wave Innovation Lab at Delta Faucet Company has reimagined the Glass Rinser, a common bar and restaurant fixture, to be installed for residential use with the help of Indiegogo’s Enterprise Services. Please read from the latest press from Delta:
The Glass Rinser is designed to be low-profile and easy to use, and may be installed alongside a new or existing residential sink or faucet. When the user presses a household drinking vessel onto the rinser, including baby or water bottles, a powerful, center-positioned rinsing spray will jet in several directions to rinse off residue or dust. The rinser’s runoff water funnels directly into the sink below.
The Glass Rinser is a perfect example of what our Innovation Lab can accomplish, taking a product with longstanding commercial value and reimagining it for use in home kitchens," says Missi Tate, senior marketing manager at Delta Faucet Company. "Our market research showed us that customers were interested in a solution to more efficiently and effectively rinse items at the kitchen sink, so we decided to make that concept a reality.
To test the Glass Rinser before mass production, First Wave has made use of Indiegogo Enterprise Services, which allows established companies to use the crowdfunding platform’s user base as “early advocates and market validators” for upcoming products. Early adopters will be able to receive the Glass Rinser through its Indiegogo campaign at a discounted price from October 22 through November 19, with delivery expected in October 2019.
We're excited to partner with Delta Faucet and its new brand, First Wave, to bring new and innovative products to market," says Gwen Nguyen, Vice President of Indiegogo Enterprise Services. "The launch of the Innovation Lab at Delta Faucet is another great example of large companies taking a lean, startup approach to testing and validating innovation. Indiegogo and its global community of early adopters are thrilled to be part of this transformation at First Wave.
Technology for bars and commerceial kitchens has exploded into the residential market this year. While testing is still ongoing, what a wonderful way to look at new products from Delta, one of the leading manufacturers of plumbing equipment around the world. The first residential glass washer to hit the market in an industry still growing.
The Glass Rinser is an ingenious new gadget from the people at First Wave—the innovation lab inside Delta Faucet Company. It solves the age-old problem of hard-to-clean residue by powering it away before it dries.
Or, if you’re old school, the First Wave Glass Rinser makes it easier than ever to wash items by hand. Simply add a bit of dish soap to your dirty item, then press it down on the rinser. Boom. It’s clean in no time.
The Glass Rinser installs easily to your cold or hot water supply line. We recommend using hot water if you plan on using your Glass Rinser to handwash items. Call Action Plumbing Heating A/C & Electric Inc. today and find out how to pre-order yours.
