KOHLER, Wis. – Feb. 3, 2012 – Kohler’s broad environmental efforts have gained respect from all corners of the conservation movement, most recently from readers of Green Builder Magazine, who voted Kohler “Greenest Plumbing Products Manufacturer” in the magazine’s 2012 Readers Choice Awards. The award, which recognizes “pioneering companies that are leading the industry in sustainable thinking,” is presented in the magazine’s February 2012 issue.

Additional Sustainability Recognition – A recent example of Kohler’s resourcefulness and leadership was on display at the 2011 Greenbuild show in October, where the U.S. Green Building Council awarded Kohler its highest honor for the company’s eco-friendly booth design and construction.

To achieve the maximum level of sustainability, the Kohler exhibition design team went to great lengths to think creatively about how to develop a high-quality booth with minimal impact on the environment. Kohler Co. was one of only three to receive a Leader Level award, the highest level in the competition.
