Job Description Summary:
The warehouse manager/associate plans directs, and coordinates transportation, storage, and distribution/staging activities in accordance with organizational policies. This position oversees operations at the warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to the service and installation schedule. The duties and responsibilities of the position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
- Leads shop team in day-to-day warehouse operations
- Oversee logistics: shop runs for various departments
- Works in conjunction with the facilities manager to optimize shop layout
- Maintains weekend schedules for the shop team
- Provides feedback to Purchasing Manager to facilitate employee reviews
- Assist with yearly stock and inventory counts
- Helps develop and maintain perpetual inventory processes
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Work Experience: 2 years of Warehouse experience
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Certification: Forklift, Box Truck
- Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Organization Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Cross-functional skills: Basic math skills
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills

- Physical Environment: The associate may work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures. The associate may climb/descend steps and ladders. The associate may work on roofs, tight confines, in attics, basements and crawl spaces. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Work Experience: 4 years of Shipping and Receiving
- Experience Leadership Skills: 2 years in a leadership role
